Greyvolk was founded by Col Kaushal Kashyap, Shaurya Chakra, and Lt Col Kaushalendra Singh, Sena Medal, both distinguished gallantry award winners with extensive international experience in security and leadership. Shaurya Chakra

Col Kaushal Kashyap, Shaurya Chakra, is a distinguished ex-Special Forces Officer with two decades of experience in executing highly sensitive operations. His career includes the unique honor of commanding the elite 52nd Special Action Group of the National Security Guards, a premier counter-terrorism unit.Awarded the Shaurya Chakra, the third highest gallantry award in peacetime, Col Kashyap's exemplary service is further recognized by multiple commendations. He has been awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card and the General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command Commendation Card. Additionally, he has received Commendation Cards from the Director General NSG on two occasions and from the United Nations Mission in Congo twice. His valor and contribution have also been acknowledged internationally with the Meritorious Service Medal from the Government of Mongolia.Col Kashyap’s extensive experience and distinguished service underscore his commitment to excellence in security and leadership.

Sena Medal

Lt Col Kaushalendra Singh, Sena Medal, has had a distinguished career marked by nearly two decades of dedicated service to the nation, including roles in The Rajputana Rifles, Special Forces, and Assam Rifles. His extensive operational experience spans over 12 years in diverse terrains, from the arid deserts and high-altitude regions of Jammu and Kashmir to the dense jungles of North East India. A volunteer for the Special Forces, he was part of the standby team during the Maldives crisis in 2012 and demonstrated his adventurous spirit as the National runner-up in the 13th Raid de Himalaya car rally, earning the Army Commander Commendation Card. During his time with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, he led a sensitive company base over a 2500 sq km area and was awarded the UN Force Commander Commendation Card for his excellence. As a General Staff Officer in the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), Lt Col Singh helped shape elite shooters, earning the Vice Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card. Outside the military, he enjoys running, skydiving, trekking, and sports such as badminton and squash.
